New IXCloud Enhancements: Our January 2026 Updates
Numonix begins the year with a powerful set of updates to IXCloud, reinforcing our commitment to monthly product innovation. This first release of the month introduces a significant new integration, a redesigned and more intuitive user interface, and a range
of new features that expand transparency, compliance, and ease of use. We also close with a preview of what is arriving before the end of the month.
These updates will be live for all customers beginning January 19, 2026.
New Integrations: Zoom Recording Ingestion
As part of our initiative to deliver at least one new integration per month, this release brings native Zoom recording ingestion to IXCloud. Customers can now connect IXCloud directly to a Zoom environment and ingest recordings automatically using a new dedicated endpoint.
Admins can import all recordings or select only specific user groups. Once authenticated, IXCloud retrieves Zoom recordings periodically and treats them as if they were recorded natively within the platform.
This unlocks full IXCloud functionality: search, filter, playback, transcription, analytics, tagging, and more.
“Once the recording comes into our IXCloud, it is considered as natively recorded by us, and you can do all sorts of action that you are doing with MS Teams recordings.” — Prakash Samiyappan, CTO Numonix
Organizations with legacy Zoom recordings will also benefit, as IXCloud allows them to consolidate all historical and new recordings into a single, searchable, compliant repository.
UI Enhancements: Two Clicks to Anywhere
A major focus of this release is a refreshed user interface designed to streamline every interaction. While all functionality remains intact, the layout, navigation, and filtering system have been redesigned for usability and efficiency. The redesigned call listing page now features a simplified, more powerful filtering bar. Users can select specific fields, apply wildcard searches, and quickly narrow results by queue, agent, or other attributes. This increases precision and reduces unnecessary system load. These changes reflect a guiding design philosophy: a user should never need training to use IXCloud.
“We spent a lot of time in making the UI more minimalistic, with all the functionalities still available. Everything is ease of access. Everything is in front of you. You basically select the filter and do it.” — Prakash Samiyappan, CTO Numonix
The call details page has also been reworked. All essential information is grouped logically, the color scheme is clearer, and video and screen share elements are easier to view. Playback performance is significantly improved, loading instantly and synchronizing video and screen share seamlessly.
Additional enhancements include the ability to filter nearly every list by type, including endpoints and groups. These refinements simplify daily workflows and reflect our commitment to a “two clicks to anywhere” experience.
New Features: Expanded and More Transparent Audit Trail
Compliancedriven teams will appreciate one of the most impactful upgrades in this release: a fully expanded audit trail that captures every meaningful user action. Previously, the audit trail focused on configuration changes or permission updates. The enhanced version now includes search activity, playback actions, navigation interactions, and a complete, chronological record of each user session.
This enhanced audit capability allows supervisors and compliance teams to understand what users viewed, accessed, searched for, or played. Each action is time-stamped and associated with call IDs, agents, and session details.
Audits can now be filtered by user, enabling targeted reviews. Everything visible on screen can also be exported as PDF or CSV for reporting or regulatory documentation.
“It is complete transparency. A supervisor can log in and see clearly each and every user’s activity and who did what.” — Prakash Samiyappan, CTO Numonix
This deeper level of visibility strengthens compliance defense, dispute resolution, and internal oversight.
Coming Soon: Expanded Microsoft Teams Capabilities
The release video also previews enhancements arriving before the end of the month, focused primarily on Microsoft Teams recording.
“We currently support interactive roster, and that functionality is going to be available to customers by end of this month.” — Prakash Samiyappan, CTO Numonix
Three new capabilities are on the way:
- Interactive roster (also known as partial roster)
- OAuth 2.0 authentication for the recorder bot, enabling multitenant support and stronger security boundaries
- Live monitoring, allowing authorized supervisors to listen to calls in real time as they occur
These features further strengthen IXCloud as a platform built around flexibility, security, and operational readiness.
“Each tenant is partitioned properly with its own boundaries, and everything is secured.” — Prakash Samiyappan, CTO Numonix
Numonix will continue to release monthly IXCloud enhancements throughout the year, with a consistent focus on usability, integrations, and customer value.
