Overview

Retention profiles define how long recorded calls are stored in IXCloud, ensuring compliance with both regulatory mandates and internal business policies.

Functionality

  • Administrators can configure retention periods by group or user.
  • Retention can be set to meet:
    • Regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID requires 7 years).
    • Business policies (e.g., 30 days, 3 months, or custom durations).
  • Calls are automatically deleted once the retention period expires, unless legal hold is applied.
